About Landform Atlas
Landform Atlas is a small, independent project that explains how landforms are made — in plain English, one real place at a time. It is written for curious readers from about 13 years old, including students working through GCSE, IGCSE or AP geography.
How the explainers are made
- Definitions and processes are checked against openly licensed geology textbooks and official sources such as UNESCO and national geological surveys. Every article lists its sources.
- Each article embeds the clearest videos we could find on the topic, from many different creators. Videos stay on YouTube and belong to their creators.
- We avoid current politics and stick to physical geography, place names, history and culture.
